Today’s Inspiration: “They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water. I will turn all my mountains into roads, and my highways will be raised up.” Isaiah 49:10-11 NIV. All our test, trials and tribulations in life are like mountains, deserts and dry brooks, yet it’s those times we discover God’s divine peace, grace, mercy, healing and faithfulness. These are the mysteries of God, who hides His purpose in the pain, salvation in among suffering, and miracles in the marred. He is the potter, and we are the clay. Nothing is impossible for God. Luke 1:37.
The devil comes to deceive us that all our problems and trials are signs of God’s imperfections in the creation yet the Cross clearly rebukes satan, which brought salvation, hope and healing to all souls who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour. John 3:16. Without discipline, corrections and changes, we will not learn humility, love and our calling. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5. Love always covers a multitude of sins and He never fails.
Prayer: O Lord my God, fill me with thy Holy Spirit and love till my cup runneth over. My soul praises you in times of challenges because it is my choice to love, trust and believe in you that your best plans for me is yet to come. All things shall work out for the good of your purpose. And may my daily life be used to give you all the glory, honour, power and worship. A contrite heart and broken spirit you will not despise, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
