Today‘s Inspiration: ”But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.“
Matthew 6:33-34 NIV. Worries keeps us from living in the presence of God. Most of our fears come from wounds of the past and worries of the future. Only faith is able to keep us focus on Christ Jesus in the present, taking our past sins to the Cross and trusting our future securities in God’s Covenant.
Pagan prayers are different from Kingdom prayers. The former focus on self but the latter focus on Christ. Jesus taught,”And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.“ Matthew 6:7-8. Kingdom prayers focus on faith in God, proclaiming God’s prophetic promises, power and prowess in His Word. In 2024, it is time to align to God’s will, timing and season by listening carefully to His voice. Worship breaks all warfare of worries and fears. So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.“ Matthew 6:31-32. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let us lean not on our own understanding but to trust you with all our hearts. Our glorious future, breakthroughs and results are in your divine hands. Lead us by your Holy Spirit to follow your promise, purpose and plans, to open prophetic doors in building new relationships, partnerships and alliances. I believe we shall move from faith to faith, strength to strength, and glory to glory in 2024, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
