Today’s Inspiration: “Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the Lord God. “Therefore turn and live!” Ezekiel 18:31-32. God’s will is always to heal, deliver, and restore our lives but it’s the human heart and spirit that hinders with pride, lust, anger, and rebellion since the time of Eden. Proverbs 4:23.
“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2. “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.” Jeremiah 17:9-10. Worship is not just about singing songs to the Lord but to give our whole and old hardened heart to Him in exchange for a new heart and spirit of Christ. Ezekiel 36:26. This is the power and essence of true, intimate and deep Worship of God, a divine exchange in spirit, soul, and body.
Prayer: O Lord my God, the reason I live is to glorify your name and worship you for who you are with all my heart, all my soul, and all my strength. Give me a new heart and spirit daily, that I may follow your Word, commands, and statues in Jesus' Name, Amen.
