17 October 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].” 2 Timothy 1:7 AMP. Today the greatest warfare is mental wellness. Fear is the stronghold and the spiritual root of all sickness, lack and rejections. Like Job, fear opened the door to his infirmities and distress.

He said,”For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, And that of which I am afraid has come upon me. Job 3:25 Yet God has plans for a double for his troubles. Job 42:10 It was a spiritual warfare between fear and faith within, for God’s perfect love casts out all fears and renews our mind with His righteousness, faithfulness and holiness. Prayer lifts up our shield of faith to quench all arrows of fear by Satan. Ephesians 6:16 Prayer also takes up the Sword of the spirit, which is the Word of God to remove all thoughts which comes against the knowledge of God. 2 Corinthians 10:5 Prayer guards our mental health, for when our soul prospers so does our body. 3 John 2

Prayer: O Lord my God, my faith is found in nothing less but Christ alone is my righteousness. Keep me under your wings of refuge and healing. Give me mental rest, wellness and strength to overcome the stress of the world, the fear of the future, and the issues of the heart. As I make the most high my dwelling place, no evil shall befall upon me and no plague shall come near my tent. You shall put your angels over my situations and keep me from all fears, less my feet stumble and fall. Make me your sign and your wonders that I shall bear witness and testify of your healing, miracles and divinity, in Jesus Name, Amen.
