17 June 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. The appetite of laborers works for them; their hunger drives them on. A scoundrel plots evil, and on their lips it is like a scorching fire.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:25-27‬ ‭NIV‬‬. What seems right to us might not be right in God’s eyes. Thus says the Lord,” For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:8-9.‬

Where is your appetite? Do we seek the things of the World or the plans of the Kingdom of God. Because Moses took things into his own hands to deliver the hebrew people, he killed an Egyptian and has to run for 40 years. Until he surrendered his life at the burning bush, God took over to deliver the Israelites and brought miracles, signs and wonders into Moses’s life and calling. Will you allow God to take over and over take your plans? Is He in your plans and purposes? Remember where God leads you, there will be His favour, peace and provision. He will lead you with His Word, His presence and His protection. Exodus 33:15. Learn to deny your negative emotions, thoughts and feelings. Do not be rashful but be still to be led by the Holy Spirit. Know that He is watching over you. Peace shall be with you to prosper in God’s presence.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my ways be align with yours, let my plans be directed by yours. Give me courage and strength to take a step of faith to answer your call and do your will. For your perfect love shall cast out all my fears. I believe this is the season for my soul to prosper and my mind to be renewed as I follow you, in Jesus Name, Amen.
