17 December 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: To be a deliverer we need to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit who always direct us to safety. The Israelites panicked and murmured against Moses but thank God for His sensitivity to the voice of the spirit, He boldly declared that the Israelites should remain focused and moved forward for the Lord will fight for them and they shall hold their peace. It was for His glory that God placed His people to heavy testing. Exodus 14:10-18. God is merciful and gracious. He will not leave nor forsake His people. When you come to a cross road, just stand still and see the Lord accomplished the work of salvation instead of you making rashful decision to your hurt.

There is power in our tongue. When Moses declared that the Egyptians they see they will see no more in Exodus 14:13, it came to pass. V28. Our words can thresh the mountain and beat them small and make the hills like chaff. For God has made you a threshing sledge with Sharp teeth. So rejoice in the Lord and glory in the Holy one of Israel. Isaiah 41:15-16. So do not fear even in challenging times. Those who war against you shall be as nothing as a non-existent thing. Such is the power of our words. God be praised.

Prayer: Abba Father in times like this, only You will hear me and declare to me new things that will spring forth that hitherto I do not know. May I be the light to the whole world for You are the fountain of light that shines through me. In Jesus name, amen.
