Today’s Inspiration: “May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.” Psalms 20:1-2. God is not just a far away being or a just someone who seats on a throne in heaven. He is the most loving father we can ever have who sent His only begotten son Jesus Christ who became flesh and made his dwelling among us, crucified at the Cross and with His precious blood, redeemed us from all sins. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14. Many may not have a loving father or some may even have an abusive or absent one, and that seemingly gives a distorted image of God, who is our Abba Father God, who loves us more than we can ever ask or imagine. Ephesians 3:20.
Christ was original image of the Father, for he does all that the God is working daily in our lives. As a father, my children always come to me for their simplest requests and I always discern what is best for them according to God’s Word and Workings. Despite they do not always get what they want, they always knew God has a better plan for them and they could trust, believe and feel secure with the Father’s Word and Instructions. Jeremiah 29:11. They could always confide in Him when they fear, worry or in distress. The more they read and know the Bible, the more they see the Father’s Love for them. As a father, the more I follow Christ the more the Children feels the Word is real and God’s Image becomes clearer in their reflections, convictions and devotions for life. They become the salt and the light to world because we all draw close to the light, our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus for in Him and through Him, we encounter the Father’s love. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are my Father in Heaven and I am your child who received the spirit of sonship through Christ Jesus. I am not longer slave to sins or deceptions of the enemy, but a vessel of honour cleansed and washed by your Word and your precious blood at Calvary that now I realised how high, how wide, how deep and how much my Abba Father’s love for me to restore my soul, renew my mind, and strengthen my heart. Praise you forever and ever in Jesus' Name, Amen.
