Today’s Inspiration: “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts. To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.” Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Most of our life problems comes from our pride. When we take things to our own hands rather than God in prayer, issues arises. Prayer requires humility, submission and obedience to the Lord’s Word, Way, and Wisdom. The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out. Proverbs‬ ‭20‬:‭5. ‭Only those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Romans 8:14.



It is the Holy Spirit that brings love, faith and hope into all situations and circumstances. One respected minister once preached, the moment we no longer need God, we are backsliding. When we no longer long for His word and presence, our spirit dries out. Where there is no Holy Spirit, there is no God’s presence and problem arises. A disciple of Christ seeks the Lord with hunger and thirst for His righteousness and abide daily in His commands in prayer. Prayer keeps our lamp stand burning in the temple of God, which is our body. Prayer keeps our eyes and our hands on the Lord. Because whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor. Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭21‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ The righteousness of God is Christ.


Prayer: O Lord my God, reveal the depths in my heart with your light as I cast all my cares unto you. There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. Let I lean not on my own understanding but to trust you with all my heart as your Holy Spirit directs my path and my mind, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
