13 June 2021 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: Heaven and Earth will pass away but His words are eternal and will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:35. Deep abiding relationship daily matters.

In all services, Communion is very special to us. It is the gateway to healing and deliverance. It is also where strategies of the enemy are discerned. It is a weapon of spiritual warfare. It is here where we find peace with God that surpasses all knowledge and understanding. Man's ways should not be a stumbling block to our life. He is the way, the truth and the life where we gain entrance into His kingdom through the light that is burning deep in our heart daily as to the next move with God towards our glorious future.

Until our lamps are trimmed regularly like the five wise virgins we cannot enter His kingdom. Our lamp should not be dim or it cannot enlighten the dark paths that we inevitably tread in the midst of our struggle. When the lamp keeps burning in our heart, the word of God is so impactful that our faith filled words inspire others to victory in Christ Jesus. In times of struggle, even the words 'Peace be with you' speaks louder than your fears.

Only three instructions were given to Peter to feed the lambs, tend to the sheep and feed the sheep as an expression of his love for Him after He healed him of his guilt and shame at denying Jesus. John 21:15-17. Therefore tending to the flock and feeding the sheep are by no means the priority of the great commission that commands us to make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20. After saying this to Peter He asked him to follow Him. That should be our lifestyle even up to today. Spiritual growth of a church denotes the health of the church. So aim at spiritual growth in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. God be praised.

Prayer: You desire truth in the inward parts therefore I commit myself to You O Lord to direct my paths. Your ways are better and higher than our ways. Your words of direction will never return to you void. In Jesus' name, Amen.
