Today‘s Inspiration: Jesus spoke, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37-38 NKJV. Christ is the living waters which gives us eternal life. Why would the Lord bring change in our lives with His attitude, behaviour and character? It is because what goes into eternal is forever, so does sin or holiness which brings eternal damnation or eternal blessings respectively. Can you imagine being angry, bitter and jealous eternally? That’s why hell is eternal torment.
What is eternal glory, honour, and power is Christlikeness. Without prayer, humility, obedience and teachability, we will not learn how to live an eternal lifestyle. That’s why the Lord’s Prayer is so powerful and life changing for it’s the lifestyle in heaven. It teaches us how to live with Christ, through Christ and like Christ. How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings. They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, And You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light. Psalms 36:7-9 NKJV. No longer slave to sin but a child of God. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, make us your vessel of honour. Sanctify us spirit, soul, and body. Cleanse us with your Word and fill us with your love for God. You are the source, the saviour, and sanctifier of my soul. Lord I come to you and let my heart be changed, renewed. Flowing from the grace that I found in you. I have come to know the weaknesses that I see in me, will be striped away by the power of the Cross, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
