Today’s Inspiration: “I will make each of My mountains a road, And My highways shall be elevated. Surely these shall come from afar; Look! Those from the north and the west, And these from the land of Sinim.” Isaiah 49:11-12 NKJV. Many don’t realise that our past can be high mountains that block us from our destiny. It is the enemy’s scheme to put our past in front of us just like the Israelites, who was so used to their bondage of slavery that hinders their hope and faith to possess the promised land. If the wounds of our past are not healed, they become open doors for the enemy to cripple our future.

Prophet Isaiah proclaimed a powerful prophetic utterance that brought God’s promises to our present in prayer to turn all our mountains into roads, and valleys into highways. Likewise Moses answered the Israelites, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:13-14. It was after such divine and powerful proclamation was followed with the most impossible miracles in biblical history that opened up the Red Sea. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe there is power in prayer prophetically. Let the words in my mouth and believe in my heart to be filled with your promises, purposes and prophecies. I believe my past is not my destiny but your Word is. It is the lamp to my feet and light to my path. And my spirit is the lamp of God, which direct me day and night. I believe what is not planted by you in my shall be uprooted and removed, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
