Today's Inspiration: God is desirous to have obedient children and to a call to be holy in your conduct because it is written Be Holy for I am Holy. 1 Peter 1:16. Blessed be the man who keep his lamp burning continuously that no darkness will befall him.
To be obedient means we are to grow deeper and deeper with God and to experience the depth of our yieldedness to God that would not otherwise have attained without struggle. If there is no pain there is no gain. Every depth of God's love and growing deep comes through suffering. There is no other way. Therefore trials are part and parcel of life that we have to accept and endure till Kingdom come.
Be everything what God called you to be. Your words reveal who you are. In all things remember that we have the great High priest Jesus the Son of the most High God who sympathize with our weakness but was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15. So come boldly to the throne of grace that we might obtain mercy and find grace to help in times of need. V16. Therefore, today if you hear His voice do not harden your hearts as in rebellion in the days of trial but seek God in a deeper way a message He is conveying to us. Let His word profit us in times of trial and have our mind renewed for we know in part about ourselves but He knows every condition of our heart. There is no creature hidden from His sight. In all things we are naked v13 before Him and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Therefore, we need to renew our mind and not be ignorant of satanic devices who want to draw us away from God. We need to learn obedience by the things we suffered as He is author of salvation to those who believed in Him. He who called you is faithful. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord renew my mind and enable me to allow the word I hear profit me so that all strongholds be broken to make my path smooth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
