Today’s Inspiration: “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15 NIV. Jesus is our Good Shepherd and there is only one Lord who will lay down His life for us at the Cross of Calvary, who forgives our sins and by the wounds He took on His Holy body, which was unblemished, blameless and without sin, became the lamb of God and all power and authority over the heavens and the earth are given unto Him, who was resurrected by the Holy Spirit and seated at the mighty right hand of God. He is our divine love and Messiah. Colossians 3:1. It is easy to love those who love you but would you lay down your lives for the sinners, love those who hates you and do good to those who persecute you?
Christ is the power of the Cross to bring forgiveness, healing and salvation to all souls who repents and willing to make Jesus Christ their personal Lord and saviour. It is by grace through faith that we are saved. Ephesians 2:8. Jesus taught,” But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?” Matthew 5:44-46. Blessing always overcomes curses, love always overcomes fear and forgiveness always overcomes hatred. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, such love that you have is beyond my knowledge and such grace you gave is beyond my understanding. You are the Good Shepherd and your Word and Holy Spirit guides me daily, and I follow you. Your sheep hears your voice Lord, and you know me. Guide me in your everlasting ways and if there are any offences in me, forgive me as I forgive those who sins against me. Your grace is sufficient for me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
