11 October 2021 Word by Senior Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: Most of life miseries come from disobedience to God’s Word. If anyone turns a deaf ear to God’s instructions, even their prayers are detestable to the Almighty. Proverbs 28:9. But one who confesses and renounces their sins find mercy. Remember whoever conceal their sins does not prosper. Proverbs 28:13. Sin is spiritual blindness caused by a hardened heart of pride, anger, bitterness and selfishness. All sins produces fear of disobedience in the garden of Eden.

What does the Lord says? The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

James 5:16. God only uses yielded vessels, those who not just listen to the Word but are doers of the Word. James 1:22 Those who operates with biblical principles has this in common which the devil cannot duplicate or imitate even if he tries. It’s the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It’s the fear of the Lord that brings wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God against sin. One of the most powerful spiritual warfare is to discipline the flesh and disobedience. 2 Corinthians 10:6 When we submit to God and resist the devil, he shall flee. James 4:7. Obedience not just brings the blessing of God, it makes the Lord our dwelling place and refuge. No evil shall befall upon us and no plague shall come near our tents. Psalm 91:9-10.

Prayer: O Lord Our God, we demolish all arguments, disobedience and every pretension that sets itself against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Let us discipline every act and disobedience, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
