Today‘s Inspiration: “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in the power of your hand to do so.” Proverbs 3:27 NKJV. Compassion is a learned and discipled trait of Christ’s disciples and apostles. Generosity is not giving out of what we have but who we are in Christ. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. II Corinthians 8:9. God has created us to be sowers and not just consumers.

Wisdom speaks,”There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. Proverbs 11:24-25. Generosity is not about giving when you have in surplus but rather it is first giving of self to the Lord for others like Christ. Apostle Paul who lived a life of Christ taught,”I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35 NKJV. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, may I be a vessel for your honour and a sower as your harvesters. May my giving be always an attitude of gratitude, please only God and not man. For you always loved a cheerful and generous giver, like Christ who gave Himself that all can be saved. Let my life be a living sacrifice unto your good, acceptable, and perfect will, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
