10 November 2021 Word by Senior Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: We mustn’t be afraid of hard work, responsibilities or doing good. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:9-10.

When we are disappointed of not being recognised or acknowledged in family, work or church, don’t grumble or complain to others. Why? We disrupt God’s timing, peace and favour for our promotion, testimony and His glory.

Jesus taught the difference. He said,” Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:1, 3-4. This is the difference between pride and humility. We must do all things for the glory of God and not our own. 1 Corinthians 10:31. A new season of divine promotion is coming because of your prayer, perseverance and patience in the Spirit. For God is not mocked, a man reaps what he sows. Galatians 6:7. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord My God, your ways are higher than mine just as the heavens is higher than the earth. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You are my treasure and reward, for your grace is sufficient for me, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
