Today’s Inspiration: “‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.” Haggai 2:9 NIV. We have all declared in prayers before in the latter days and the latter rain. Yet many had forsaken the present and now because of the fear of the future and the bondages of the past. Salvation too is not of the past nor of the future but of the present and now. The urgency is now for salvation, the changes is now, and the breakthrough is now. “For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” II Corinthians 6:2.
We have never heard Jesus says,” Come tomorrow, I will heal you.” The time of Prayer is Now. We cannot change yesterday and we cannot live in tomorrow. “Now” is not referring to what we want or desires in impatience, Now is the presence of God and He lives in the present, not the past or future. Christ is the our present help in troubles, our strength and stronghold. Psalm 27:1. The power of God’s Now is His abiding supernatural peace that surpasses any knowledge and understanding, which comes by His Holy Spirit to govern our minds and our hearts. It’s not about you but about Him. Prayer keeps and helps us to abide continuously and unceasingly in God’s presence. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Mindfulness of God brings forth mental and emotional wellness to our soul, and not by our human capability, strength or cleverness. Nothing could connect our soul to God except prayer, worship, and praises. Healing comes as two or three gathers to pray, Jesus will be in our midst. Matthew 18:20. We all need an Altar Attitude to grow and move into the Lord’s Altitude. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my words be few for you are in heaven and I am on the earth. May the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing at your sight. Guide me to slow down, silence in, look up, and see your glorious light and fire at the altar before your throne of grace. Save me and I shall be saved, heal me and I shall be healed. My soul is restored, and my mind is renewed Now in your presence, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
