Today's Inspiration: Jesus healed ten lepers but only one came back to testify with thanks and he is a Samaritan. Luke 7:15-16. Pride is the hardest enemy to see as it sneaks behind you. When you think you are least to fall that is the time when you are most vulnerable. Pride comes before a fall. Pride caused Satan to set up a kingdom to oppose God's kingdom.

A prideful person seeks abundant blessings from God but shun an absolute surrender to God. The prideful person struggles to honor Jesus as Lord of all, paying lip service to the absolute Lord Jesus in all arenas of life as Jesus pointed out the quotation of Isaiah.

An answer to our carnality is the root of sin. Sin of pride keeps us from surrendering to God. The church today is often discipled by the world and thus has become conformed to it. The Bible requires us not to be conformed with the world. Romans 12:2. Worldliness has crept into the church. No wonder there is neither advance nor depth in our discipleship. Disciple making is our calling. Matthew 28:18-20. Apostle Paul stressed on disciple making to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2. Without disciple making there is no sustainability.

Disciple making is the core mission of God for the church towards which all the other ministries contribute. Discipleship is passing on our convictions, our faith and life lessons in faith as a worthy legacy. And by passing on we disciple others who would disciple others also too.

So let's make disciple making our calling and our goal is to disciple them to see Christ is formed in them.

Prayer: Lord teach me and guide me Your ways and enable me to discern the right choice of disciples. Empower me in disciple making. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
