Today‘s Inspiration: “The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ We are entering into a time and season of 40 days prayer and fasting nationally for Singapore, the next generation and the missions. Prayer is the lifeline and lifestyle of a Christian, who is like Christ. Prayer is the access to the spiritual realm of God’s peace, presence, power, protection, and providence. Without prayer, our spiritual life is likened a death phone, without charge, signals and useless.

Prayer charges our spiritual life with the spirit of God. But the key issue with unanswered prayers is because we keep focusing on praying for our problems than seeking for God’s presence. We pray to get what we want rather than seeking what God wants. We pray for God to change others but not our own attitude, behaviour and character. Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭12‬-‭14‬. Prayer changes our inner man in the spiritual realm, and that’s where divine breakthroughs happens. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me walk in the Spirit of prayer and not in the flesh of my desires. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven to manifest your goodness, grace and greatness to our Nation, community and family. Teach us to pray, fast, and seek your face that we learn to submit, surrender, and soak in your loving presence. For you are the vine and we are your branches to be fruitful in your time and seasons, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
