Family’s Foundation
During COVID-19 circuit breaker, we faced many pressure and struggles in the community of Singapore. Hundreds of homes experienced violence and abuses due to isolation. These reported cases which speaks of even more for unreported ones. There are not much religious materials which speaks about family relationship as compared to the Bible. The Bible is family centric from the beginning to the end. The key for a family to experience blessings, favour and peace from God is Submission in the Marriage.
No one actually knows how to be a wife or husband before going into a marriage. And God’s command for marriage is to learn how to respect one another in Christ, meaning we need to be like Christ for the marriage to work out. All dysfunction of home is due to parenting. But few know that good parenting comes from good coupling in the marriage. Two is better than One, and Unity of Agreement is needed for Two to become One.
Would your son aspire to find a wife like you Mothers and likewise your daughter finding a husband like you Fathers? Does your children find Christ in you and marriage? It’s a good reflection to begin Building Strong Families.
