9 August 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: Happy Blessed 57th National Day Singapore 2022 to one and all families in the Kingdom of God! This is a special day to remember the goodness, the greatness and holiness of God who watches over our Nation, who named us as a Lion city. Let this anointed prayer for Israel keeps our Nation humble, healthy and homecoming to the Lord always.

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,” Let Israel now say—

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us,

Then they would have swallowed us alive,

When their wrath was kindled against us;

Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul;

Then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul.”

Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭124:1-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Vulnerability is a weakness to the world but a strength of the Lord for Singapore. When we are vulnerable to God, it keeps our Nation vigilant in prayer, watchfulness and not complacent. Vulnerability keeps us humble, teachable, alert and flexible for the Lord to use us. God does not look at our appearance or capabilities, but our hearts as one church, one people, and one Nation. A generation sacrificing for another seeing a greater revival of salvation of souls is yet to come. One who loves God and others as themselves, fulfils the greatest commandment. Matthew 22:37

Prayer: O Lord my God, as we seek ye first the Kingdom and your righteousness all the days of our lives, our Nation will not have lack but thrive and overcome in all different faces of storm, because Christ is the captain of our vessel to still all the billows. In all circumstances, prosper our souls that we always see the glory of our Jehovah Shalom, our Messiah Yeshua dwelling on our Nation and in our Boat, as your disciples, in Jesus Name, Amen.
