Today’s Inspiration: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:1,16.
Jesus Christ our Lord and king, came to this earth not to please anyone but to please God. When we try to please man, we will always compromise on our principles, values and norms of the gospel. Apostle Paul preached,” “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.” Galatians 1:10. We get fearful, anxious and stress because we want to please everyone but at the end we please none. The fear of man will always be a snare but those who trust God will be strong and secure. Proverbs 29:25. Rather the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Proverbs 9:10. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me fear God and not man for all that I do, I shall do all things for the glory of God. Let me transform more into your image daily and to receive thy ever increasing glory, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
