Today's Inspiration: The Lord is your lamp that turns your darkness into light. With God's help you can advance a troop, with God's help you can scale a wall. 2 Samuel 22:29-30. Nothing is impossible for you to accomplish when God is your leader.
We always try to lead without His help in the wilderness experience. Moses had to be trained a shepherd in the wilderness to remove the past ways of leading he learnt from the palace of Egypt. Joseph had to be trained in the wilderness for 13 years before he could govern Egypt with the wisdom of God. We need to go through school of hard knocks to lead His rebellious people to the promised land. Training maybe tough but ultimately the reward is worth the waiting.
God's ways are always perfect even though we may not like His ways of intensive training. The word of the law is flawless. He is a shield to all who took refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31. The Israelites thought that they were on the way to the Promised land after they were released from bondage in Egypt not knowing ahead of time the tedious preparation to be a mighty warrior to reach the destiny God has planned for them. Behind the wilderness experience is God's shield of victory that will be handed to you to make you great. He broadens your path so that your ankles do not turn. V36-37.
God reigns and still is the Lord who gives you great victories for His name sake. God be praised. Trust Him always.
Prayer: O Lord You are the God who avenged Your servants who put Nations under them. Praise be to the Rock. Be exalted O God far above all the Nations of the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
