Today’s Inspiration: “He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.” Psalms 34:20-22 NKJV. Praises unto God has the power to rout the enemy and confuse all adversaries, especially in times of tests, trials and tribulations. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1. Praises and thanksgiving unto God kills the flesh and revives our Spirit man.
Our hearts is the gateway to God and the Altar of God’s temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16. What the churches today is lacking much is none other than prayer. Prayer is the actual plow, not the ministry, projects or programs. Without a consistent and disciplined Prayer life, we can easily burn out, dry up and give up. Prayer is the power to run the ministry and our lives in Christ. We have to build our personal prayer altar daily. God told Moses and Aaron, “A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” Leviticus 6:13. So don’t wait for a prayer meeting, summit or conference to pray. If you desire your family to receive Christ, soften the hearts of people and change the atmosphere of your home, workplace or church, begin to build your personal prayer altar and communion with God. Drop all your busyness, heaviness and weariness to pray and seek His face. “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me of my busyness if I have neglected the prayer altar. Let me come back to the heart of worship. Let my personal prayer altar be filled with my sacrifice of praise, offerings and thanksgiving in my heart. Fill me daily with your Holy Spirit and Fire at the altar. You are the lover of my soul, the fortress of my mind, the provider of my needs and healer of my sicknesses. For my only desire is to pray and dwell in the House of God and your kingdom forever, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
