7 January 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ In 2023, we have to sharpen our discernment through hearing the voice of God in His Word, prayer and worship. John 10:27. The voice of God does not bring condemnation on the sinner but on the sins, bringing conviction to the soul to break free from sinning to salvation. Walking in the Spirit is literally walking in the Word of God, His divine commandment, His great commandment, which is to love one another. John 13:34.

The law of spirit is the love of God, that has the power to break all chains and strongholds of satan. All sicknesses, oppressions, depressions and discouragement can be broken by our Abba Father’s love for us. Apostle Paul taught,” For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭2.‬ When and where there is no love, there is no presence of God because God is love and love is God in His manifestation. Love fulfils the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:40. To be filled with the Holy Spirit, it is to worship and humble ourselves before God and His authority. Surrendering to Christ helps our innermost being to be yielded to His Spirit to receive His grace and enter into His rest. There is divine love, peace and joy in the presence of God. The moment we dwell in the presence of God is the moment of breakthrough. Praise the Lord!

Prayer: O Lord my God, your love is greater than my heart. Your perfect love cast out all fears. Let I not walk in the flesh but walk the Spirit, hearing the voice of God and not of the world. For you are my good shepherd and your sheep hears your voice, you know me and I follow you Lord Jesus. Let my heart be contrite and be filled once again with your unfailing and unconditional love to share Christ and touch lives, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
