Today’s Inspiration: Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 16:18. Without the Holy Spirit, we will never know we are prideful in many ways. In fact when we reflect, most failures or brokenness in life happened because of our pride. All shame and pain comes from our pride of life, but with humility comes honour and wisdom. Proverbs 11:2.

Pride is a stronghold which causes our heart to sin against God. Pride is spiritual blindness which can even cause Christians to be easily deceived by self-righteousness and intellect. Jeremiah 49:16. Apostle Paul was the classic testimony of how God can change a prideful and dangerous Pharisee into a humble man, a martyr and an apostle of Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible for God to change, even our family members. Let pray and fast for the salvation of unsaved souls.

Prayer: O Lord Our God, we repent of our pride, anger and disobedience. Help us to learn from our past mistakes with the fear of the Lord. Bless us with your wisdom that we may see things through your Word to humble ourselves. Let repentance bring revival to our Nation, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
