Today’s Inspiration: “Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.” Psalms 34:14-16 NKJV. God remembers all things and details of our lives. He knows our darkest sins, our strongest bondages and our deepest hurts. Yet He also knows our greatest potential, our highest calling and strongest gifts because He has set us apart when He formed us in our Mother’s womb. Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:4-5.
God is Holy and He desires us to be Holy. 1 Peter 1:16. Holiness is not legalistic, religious or ritualistic. Holiness is the greatest freedom for our soul to walk a sinless life having the image of Christ, living according to the Word of God in love, humility and obedience. Holiness is being open to God, telling him of all your sins, troubles and struggles. Confession brings great redemption through the blood of Jesus in the presence of God. A contrite heart and broken spirit He will not despise. Psalm 51:17. Cast all your cares to the Lord for He loves you and shall give His Holy Spirit to help you. He will root out, pull down, destroy and thrown down all your inward strongholds, turning all your fears, frustrations and anguish into His love, peace and joy in your heart. Put your love, faith and hope in God, for when we are weak then we are strong in the Lord. Remember that those who know their God, shall be strong and do great exploits for the Kingdom of God. Daniel 11:32. Your latter days shall be more glorious than your former days because God says so for those who follow Him and His Word. Supernatural breakthroughs shall come. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, set me apart from the world, my flesh and my emotions. Holy Spirit, lead me and fill me daily that I may walk closer to God. Shine your light in me that all darkness shall be scattered and your truth shall set me free. Search my heart and know my anxious thoughts, remove what is not from you and lead me in your everlasting loving ways, in Jesus Name, Amen.
