4 September 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” Exodus 33:19 NIV. Moses was not just the deliverer of the Israelites, He was a man of waiting, praying, and listening before God. He will not move unless the Lord does so. Exodus 33:15. We learnt bad consequences when the servants of God don’t wait like Saul who lost his kingship, Samson who lost his strength, and Esau who lost his birthright.

The presence of God carries His divine power, protection, provision, peace, and preservation. Genesis 22:14. Prayer helps us to learn how to wait upon the Lord and Worship keeps our fears, anxieties, weariness and stresses at bay. Isaiah 40:31 Most of our rashful or fearful decisions are bad ones but those from the Lord brings wisdom, peace, favor, prudence, discretion, and assurance. Without prayer, we cannot discern the Lord’s presence, so let’s rebuild our prayer altars. His goodness shall go before us in prayers. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my heart not be anxious, fearful or stressful but be in peaceful self control in your presence as I pray. My waiting is your healing. Calm every storm and still all the waves within me with your Holy Word and authority. Let me always seek you first your Kingdom and your righteousness daily before all decisions or work. Fill me and direct me with your goodness by your Holy Spirit with your wisdom, knowledge and understanding, in Jesus' Name,
