Today’s Inspiration: “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.” Hebrews 11:30-31. There is power in the praises of God and is the best weapon of warfare against satan and his strongholds. Joshua was not just a man of war as a warrior but a man of praise as a true worshipper of God. John 4:24.
All walls of hostility, rebellion and animosity has to come down in the praises and presence of God. God is able to lay a table at the presence of your enemies as He placed salvation for the two spies in the house of a sinner who was redeemed by giving her life to God and God gave life to her entire family by a scarlet cord. Joshua 2:18. Most of life problems comes from the words in our spirit man. I discovered almost all dysfunctional homes carry words of curses and animosity. Apostle James said,” “The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.” James 3:6. Therefore to encounter God, we have to speak the Word of God to edify, exhort, and comfort daily, having an endless hallelujah to the Lord in praises which will change the course of tragedy to destiny of God’s kingdom. When we allow God to fill our tongue with His Word, it changes our attitude, behaviour and character, turning curses to blessings and restoring homes and families. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let the praises of my mouth and meditation of my heart be to proclaim your holy promises and you are worthy of all glory, honour and power. Change my heart and change my Words to be wholly yours and pure that I shall speak thy Word of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Let new songs of praises bring down all the walls of Jericho and salvation to those who calls upon you, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
