Today‘s Inspiration: ”If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.“ 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Today we face the greatest challenge in the Church today is that we are good in doing Church but weak in being Christ. The danger of putting spiritual gifts first than spiritual fruit can bring spiritual corruption.

In 2024, the glory of the Lord shall reveal many hearts back to Christ Jesus. God doesn’t need us to do many things for Him, rather He desires to do many things for us if we would to seat with Him at His feet like Mary did as compared to Martha. When we try to fill things or people in our lives to satisfy our loneliness, esteem and emptiness, we get more hurt, discouraged and disappointed. Love is not wanting more for self but more of God in us. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Are we spending more time with the world or with God? Are we just serving in the Church, busy with our worldly pursuits but not seating at Christ’s feet in devotion and discipline. Mary got the right portion Jesus said and it will not be taken away from her. Luke 10:42 Let us be wise to choose the better, who is Christ.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe waiting time in your presence is not wasted time. Your glory is what I long for and your presence is my fullness of joy, for I delight in you alone. You are the desires of my heart, for whom nothing can satisfy. You are my cornerstone and foundation stones which my life is established. Let me be your sheep that hears your voice, you know me, and I follow you, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
