Today’s Inspiration: “Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. There is a danger of having wrong success in the eyes of the Lord. We either serve the world or serve the Lord and His Kingdom. This doesn’t mean a full time ministry but a full time disciple of Jesus Christ, seeking to glorify Father God and not our flesh or to please man. When we only depend on our own ability and self confidence, we prevent the access of Godly wisdom and plans in our lives but if we commit and submit all our work and thoughts to God, He will direct our paths and weighs our spirits.

Don’t make money our idol or any man or any fleshly pursuits. How we see a godly man or woman can be observed on how he or she handles finance, success and relationships. Jesus taught,”No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭24‬. ‭How do we serve God? By walking according to His Word and obeying His commands through the scriptures. When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice. A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps. Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬-‭9‬.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I commit all plans for my family, businesses, work, and ministry unto you. Direct my steps by the leading of your Holy Spirit and Word, that I may please and glorify your Holy Name. Let no sin or evil have any foothold in my heart, thoughts, words, and actions. Give me your daily bread of life and sanctify my spirit, soul, and body with your blood. I shall serve God only, for the Lord my God is one, in Jesus' Name, Amen.‭
