Today’s Inspiration: “I will strengthen Judah and save the tribes of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not rejected them, for I am the Lord their God and I will answer them. The Ephraimites will become like warriors, and their hearts will be glad as with wine. Their children will see it and be joyful; their hearts will rejoice in the Lord.” Zechariah 10:6-7. Judah is Praise and Joseph is Provision as their Hebraic meanings are profound and prophetic.
Intimacy with God is imminent in these perilous times of propensity. We will not encounter God without facing our fears, resolve our rivals and overcoming our oppressions. The devil come to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to destroy all of his works of evil, and give us a victorious and abundant life. John 10:10. Our children are destined to be warriors for Christ like the tribe of Ephraim. But the main challenge today is that parents are too busy to teach, share and model the Word of Christ to them. Proverbs 22:6. We have seen Christian family having their children backsliding because they can’t see Christ behaviour at home. We have to get back to our knees and pray to seek God’s face. Coming to Church doesn’t make us Christians but living like Christ does. We have to first change and be accountable to Christ in our ways and words, guarding our hearts and tongues with His Word and Spirit.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let the spirit of the living God guide me in conviction, discipline and change daily. Let me live and share Christ to my family, marketplace and ministry. Let my spirit bear new fruit of the Spirit that your salt and light shall propagate and shine through the hearts for salvation and redemption, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
