Today’s Inspiration: “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you. For you have upheld my right and my cause, sitting enthroned as the righteous judge.” Psalms 9:1-4 NIV. Many of us don’t realise that when we are fearful, anxious or stressed by problems or situations, the enemy is trying to silent our Praises to God at the Altar. It is a spiritual battle to silence our faith, and quench the Spirit. But God has not given us a Spirit of fear but a Spirit of Love, Power and a Sound Mind to praise Him in all circumstances. 2 Timothy 1:7.
Praises of God is our spiritual weapon which routs, confuses and destroys the enemy. 2 Chronicles 20:22. When we give thanks to God daily at the Altar, God hears us in the secret place. But when our eyes only look to our problems or situations just like the battle between Judah and the 3 Nations, who are much larger and stronger, we can be easily be silenced and bogged down with a fearful or troubled heart. Nevertheless, like King Jehoshaphat, He opened the hearts and mouths of the people of Judah to sing Praises unto God, and they were all filled with faith. Psalm 81:10. Praises closes our eyes to the world and opens them to the divine throne, power, authority and glory of our Almighty God. Therefore the time for silence is over and we need to lift up our voice once again in Prayer, Petition, and Thanksgiving to our God at the Altar of Praise! God will silence all the foes and the avengers and give us success and victory. Psalm 8:2.
Prayer: O Lord my God, daily I shall opened up my mouth to be filled with your Word and Praises. I will not remain silent at the rise of my enemies and I will not rest till I give you all my heart to worship you and bring back the Ark. You are the only one I seek and the only one I shall praise all the days of my life. Healing, miracles, signs and wonders of God shall be my portion of Praises, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
