Today’s Inspiration: “The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility.” Proverbs 15:33 NKJV. Why were the apostles who were unlearned men, seems to filled with wisdom and knowledge of God? The most powerful evidence of Holy Spirit filling a soul is humility, obedience, and teachability in the fear of the Lord. This fear is not about being afraid or fearful of someone but deep reverence, respect and honor of God in holiness.

How to have the fear of the Lord? It is when one soul is willing and wants to come under the teaching of the Word of God, and to grow in prayer and sanctification. Discipleship turns disciples into apostles, the messengers of the Good News of Jesus Christ. Wisdom speaks,”Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established. A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!”Proverbs 15:22-23 Spiritual guidance and mentoring is important to grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally which brings health and wellness to the soul.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my heart be consecrated in reverence of your word and Holy Spirit. Let the word of my mouth and mediation of my heart be pleasing to you. Let your divine plans and purposes unfolds in my heart and my mind that I shall follow you as my good shepherd. Let me learnt to be humble at all times and to be guided with your wisdom, peace and favor always in reverence and honor of you, in Jesus Name, Amen.
