Today’s Inspiration: “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”Psalms 23:1-3 NIV Learning to be led by the Spirit is to be led by our Good Shepherd, Christ Jesus. First we have to quieten our soul for it is filled with too much noises of the world and flesh in busyness. Secondly, as we pray in the Spirit we submit and surrender all our hearts to God. He becomes the shepherd and we become the sheep to hear, listen, and follow.

The kingdom of God is within us with Christ as our King and Lord. David said about him: “ ‘I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest in hope, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, you will not let your holy one see decay. You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’”Acts 2:25-28 As we learn to wait upon the Lord, He renews our strength and reveals revelation to our pathways and decisions. Faith comes from hearing, hearing the word of God. Romans 10:17 Thirdly, we become obedient to His word in His presence with His peace and providence.
Prayer: O Lord my God, draw me deeper and closer to your greener pastures and quiet still waters. As I wait upon you, restore my soul with your Holy Spirit, with new strength, immunity, and vitality so that when I run I will not feel weary and walk, I shall not faint. Lead me as your sheep with your wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Give me your daily bread and word that makes all things new with new actions, in Jesus Name, Amen.
