Today’s Inspiration: “A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory. In his name the nations will put their hope.” Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬. There is no other Name by which one can be saved except through the Name of Jesus Christ, who was and is, and is to come. He is the messiah to both the Jews and the gentiles. He is the great comforter and hope for all Nations. Colossians 1:27. Today our souls need more love than judgement in the body of Christ, our families need more forgiveness than bitterness, and churches need more repentance than pride to pray.

Jesus entered the house of the tax collector not because they are rich but they are poor in the Spirit. The Pharisees were religious but they have no love for the sinners. Their minds perceive with condemnation by the law but their hearts were shut from the compassion and love of God. They saw only their sins but not their salvation through Christ. Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭12‬-‭13.‬ ‭Praise the Lord for His everlasting love, grace, and mercy.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you always watches over the poor, the sick, and the lost day and night. Your grace, mercies and love endures forever and your love never fails. In you we find our hope and trust for the salvation of souls in my family, work, and ministry. May your Holy Spirit open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
