Today's Inspiration: For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy spirit. For those who serve Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men. Therefore let us pursue things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. Such is the wise counsel of the Lord written by Apostle Paul to the church in Rome in Romans 14:17-19.

As human beings we tend to focus on the expectation of the worse to come instead of the good that the Lord will bring to us. He has so much promises for us to proclaim even in times of crisis. Sometimes we wonder why we hit rock bottom despite all our efforts to do good to others. We must know that when we hit rock bottom God is testing our faith to see if we can handle something greater. As God's people we need to be overcomers.

We can only be an overcomer if we are sanctified by the truth. John 17:17. Sanctification is a process whereby the deepest part of a person's body, soul and spirit is made spotless. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 God called us to be spotlessly cleansed and be holy. Unless we are sanctified by the truth in every aspect of our life, we cannot develop an intimate relationship with God and be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10. Let His word not be head knowledge but be deeply entrenched into the inner core of our heart, that brings meaning to our life. Sanctification is a process that is eternal into eternity and is not a one time affair but a daily process in our Communion with God where change takes place from glory to glory 2 Corinthians 3:18 through His word. It's His blood that redeems us from the hands of the devil.

Prayer: Heavenly Father let Your mercy endures forever. We need Your grace and mercy each day to pass the day with joy. Answer us in this hour of distress. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
