Today’s Inspiration: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV Prayer turns our eyes from our problems and plight to God’s presence and promises. If you are reading this devotion, be encouraged ‘cos God is bigger than our burdens, and stronger than our sickness or stress. Do not lose your passion, heart or faith to pray because prayerlessness causes one’s spiritual dryness, insensitive to sins, causing lacks of intimacy, passion and discernment.

Fix our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:2-3 NIV The enemy will use all situations to keep us weary, fearful and busy from prayers. So do not fear, for the Lord says,”I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”Isaiah 41:10 Holy Spirit always find those who prays and seeking God.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my furnace of prayer never loses its fire and heart. Fill me again with your Holy Spirit and Fire. Let my intimacy with you be my inner foundation in spirit and truth. Let the lamps of intercession keeps burning day and night in the temple of the Holy Spirit and will never go off. May your presence be always my passion to seek your face and dwell in your secret place of prayer, in Jesus Name, Amen.
