Today‘s Inspiration: “Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.”Matthew 12:25 NIV. When Jesus healed the demon possessed man who was blind and dumb, the people seeing the miracles still was doubtful of the Kingdom of God. Similarly when the Israelites were shown signs and wonders in the wilderness, their hearts still were divided between Egypt and Canaan.
Our minds and hearts are always at a battle between soul and the spirit. The soul doubts but the spirit believes; the soul is fleshly but the spirit is holy, and the soul is emotional but the spirit is inspirational. It is the battlefield of the mind. The power of the Word of God brings to death our flesh at the Cross and revives our spirit at the Resurrection of Christ. As we have died with Him, we believe we shall also live with Him. Romans 6:8. We then receive the mind of Christ which is fully led by the Holy Spirit, a regenerated spirit and a renewed mind. That’s when oneness, unity and bond with God cannot be broken by the Word. Unity in the spirit in prayer always brings new breakthroughs. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let there be unity between my spirit and Holy Spirit. Let your will be my food and your purpose be my destiny. I believe your harvest is ripe as I open my eyes to your glory. Be thou my vision and be my voice; be thou my light and my love, that brings oneness in Christ wherever I go. May your kingdom come and thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus' Name,
