Today’s Inspiration: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8. Never take offences for they are emotional toxicity to the soul. It causes anger, pride, and jealousy within us. But forgiveness brings love, peace, and unity in our spirit, soul and body. It’s not easy to forgive someone who has hurt you badly or abused you badly and that’s the reason for the Cross and the power of the Blood of Jesus. Only the forgiven knows the power of forgiveness. Only the recipient of grace could exercise the Calvary love.
We must be good stewards of God’s grace in our lives. Apostle Peter taught, “Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:9-10.
These words coming from Peter shows a changed man from an impetuous fisherman into a loving disciple of Christ and an apostle of grace. He continued.” If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11 Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord Our God, may the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be pleasing to you. Fill with me thy Holy Spirit, and let my soul bears your fruit of love, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
