19 April 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” Acts‬ ‭20‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Wisdom says, “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬ ‭The kingdom of God is not about how we begin but how we are going to end by finish the race well in fulfilling God’s will, plan and purpose in our lives. Jeremiah 29:11

King Saul began well but because he was proud, disobedient and fear man more than God, his end was tragic. But for King David, he didn’t begin well in his life but he fought with faith and finished well because he was humble, obedient and teachable to please and fear God. Acts 13:22 He built up Israel and Judah for his next generation to experience peace, prosperity, and security. To build a strong marriage, it is not how much you quarrel but how well you forgive and reconcile. To build close relationship with children, it is not about how much you bless them but well you understand them. Man looks to appearances but God looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7 What has God purposed in your heart to do and to finish well for the Kingdom? We have to begin with the end in mind to give glory to God.

Prayer: O Lord my God, may all that you put into my hands be used for the glory of God in serving you. You are the author and finisher of my faith, my strength and my song. May the work of the kingdom be done on earth as it is heaven that I will finish well for all that you have called me to do by faith. Let my food be to do the will of God. May my desire is do all things for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings for your honour, in Jesus Name, Amen.
