Today’s Inspiration: “Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these (children) gather together and come to you. As I live,” says the Lord, “You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does.” Isaiah 49:18 NKJV. The restoration of Israel speaks of family restoration, healing and reconciliation by the hand the Lord. Our greatest obstacles to family reconciliation is fear due to the past hurts, pain, and even abuses. We are always running away, denying or hiding from them and the devil wants to keep it that way in the wilderness like Moses.
It is the disobedience and rebelliousness within our soul that refuses to confront and face our deepest pain. God has to supernaturally call Moses to face his greatest fear and pain to fulfil his greatest destiny - to return to Egypt, as a living sacrifice, so as to deliver God’s children. Exodus 3:4. Our flesh doesn’t want to face these pain of the past because of our wounds but it is only through our Spirit by the grace of the Holy Spirit, who always brings love, faith, and hope for forgiveness and healing in our families. Moses eventually obeyed God’s bidding to face his past and his pain was transformed into his pursue in the Kingdom of God. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, as the water reflects the face so does my life reflects my heart. Let me be still to know that you are God and give me the courage to face the pain in my past to be an overcomer and not a fugitive. Let there be obedience, forgiveness, and grace in Christ within my soul to take new actions of faith to forgive, restore and reconcile in Jesus' Name, Amen.
