Today’s Inspiration: “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” Isaiah 11:2 NKJV. The most powerful promise of our Lord Jesus Christ is His most wonderful gift of the Holy Spirit after His ascension to heaven. Without the Holy Spirit, there is no life or light in our spirit man. The life of the Church can only be ignited and burn with passion for Christ continuously day and night by the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”John 14:15-18 We need the leading, filling, and teaching of the Holy Spirit daily to apply God’s Word, commands and instructions with His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He will guide us to all truth, and His truth will set us free in our spirit. Peace be with you.

Prayer: O Lord my God, light up my spirit for it is the lamp of God. Let your seven lights of the menorah be lit in the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let me enter your gates with praise and into your courts with thanksgiving in my heart. Reveal the deeper things of my soul, and release your rivers of life and wisdom with your truth in the spirit. Direct me with your counsel and might that I may do the will of God and use your gifts, calling, and election for your Kingdom and glory, in Jesus Name, Amen.
