Today‘s Inspiration: “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12 NIV. We always observe and say that hurting people hurt people. Ironically, we all have wounds in our lives. And most of our negative reactions comes our hurting past. The power of the Word is to heal our reactions and reconcile with God, giving Him our past and filling with His love. Jesus spoken at the Cross,” Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.” Luke 23:34.

It’s not easy to have compassion for hurting people without the compassion of Christ. Most Christian tend to ask God for the grace to forgive those who had hurt them but few ask God to forgive oneself of hurting others. We too have unknowingly hurt others as well and can be totally oblivious. It is always easier to forgive others than asking others for their forgiveness. One becomes judgmental because we tend to look at others mistakes rather then our own. Matthew 7:3. Only humility can bring inner healing to our souls. How we treat others is how we treat ourselves spiritually, emotionally and physically.
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive my known and unknown sins. Heal me of the wounds that others had inflicted on me and guilt of those whom I have hurt as well. Draw me deeper into your love, grace and compassion. Let me do good to unto others, what I desire others to do unto me. For by your stripes, I am healed from the from both sides, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
