Today’s Inspiration: ““He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.” 2 Samuel 22:17-18 NIV. Worship intercession girds us and strengthens us in times of tests, trials, and tribulations. Before we can experience a breakthrough we need a spiritual breakout in the glory of God. Our battlefield is in the mind and worship leads us to the mind of Christ.

If David’s worship can cast out the evil spirit in King Saul’s torment, it has the power of God to remove all fears, anxieties and stress we are facing for our battles are not carnal but spiritual in pulling down of strongholds. 1 Samuel 16:23. David was in distress when he was pursued by King Saul and he never fails to remember how God delivered him from the lion, the bear and Goliath. There is power in praises and worship unto God which strengthens us beyond our feelings, thoughts and understanding. Worship turns our spiritual eyes to Jesus alone, who is the prince of peace, who fights all our battles and is our Jehovah Nissi. 2 Chronicles 20:15 He surrounds us with songs of victory! Praise the Lord of Hosts!!!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord in worship. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and lead me into your Holy Place which is my refuge and my fortress. Renew my mind and restore my soul, for you are my God, I whom I praise, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
