Today‘s Inspiration: ”And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.“ Philippians 4:19 NIV. The Church of Philippi was known for their generosity and support even when Paul was taken in chains because of the gospel. They were the first and only one to support his initial missionary journey and vision of God to Macedonia. Our mission in life comes from the vision of the Lord. God’s work done in God’s way, will never lack God’s will to provide. What is faith leading you in 2024? For without faith it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6.
It is more blessed to give than to receive, Jesus taught. Acts 20:35. The true meaning of life and anointing from God comes in the attitude of giving, sowing, and planting. Salvation is the harvest field of the Great Commission, but it can only be achieved by the Great Commandment. Selfishness brings loneliness but selflessness brings fruitfulness in relationship both with God and man. For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. Philippians 2:13-16. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my life be filled with grace and glory with your great commandment for the great commission. Make me a disciple of generosity and a discipler of grace in the kingdom of God. Let my prayer, fasting, and sowing be to those who are needy, poor, and sick. Let me step out in faith in 2024 to be a harvester of your Will, a discipler of your Word and a witness of your Wonders, in Jesus Name, Amen.
