12 Sept 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: Pleasant words are like a honeycomb that brings sweetness to the soul and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24. It takes a lot of Grace of God to have a character that is not easily prone to provoke. A person who easily reacts is one who suffers Injustice from childhood.

To steer your compass from wrath to calmer waters, is to focus your eyes on Jesus who desire that you cherish all the good memories in your life as they are nutrients for your life that nourishes your soul. A joyful person is a healthy person. Good begets good. What you sow you reap. Galatians 6:7. Therefore always look forward to good things in life and they will fall into your lap.

When a man's ways are pleasing to the Lord, He makes even your enemies to make peace with him. V7. What an amazing truth! How many times you are amazed that people come and make peace with you after throwing a lot of hurtful words to you. It cannot be anyone's doing but the Lord's. Nothing is impossible for Him. Luke 1:37.

Perhaps it's time to reflect and cherish all the good memories in your life to enhance your well-being today. The problem with mankind is that they tend to focus on vengeance to their offenders instead of resolving issues that troubled them. Until you are friendly to yourself, your friends will not increase. Proverbs 18:24. God be praised.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, let my stomach be satisfied with the fruit of my mouth. It's from the produce of my lips that I shall be filled. Therefore, may I speak pleasant words that bring sweetness to my hearers as the Holy Spirit gives me wise counsel in Jesus’ name. Amen.
