Today‘s Inspiration: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” Mark 2:22 NKJV. New wineskin in Greek is called Askos or Askeo, which means to endeavour, practice, train and exercise. If our bodies require conditioning and training to build physical strength so does our Spirit man. Prayer, worship and meditation of the Glory of God unceasingly creates a new wineskin for God’s new wine, the outpouring of His Spirit.
A kingdom life is to do all things for the glory of God, seek the Kingdom of God for His approval, and be filled with Spirit of God. We all need a deeper transformation to grow towards higher elevation. When we are filled with the Spirit movements of God in the realms of our hearts, it breaks us free from conforming to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2. New wineskins are flexible, dynamic, and expandable for new capacities, mindsets, and breakthroughs. It helps us to keep focusing, flowing, and following God’s divine direction with the pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. His presence and glory are our spiritual compass and proliferation. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead us by your spirit in 2024 in your good, acceptable, and perfect plan for our growth. Let our minds not hold to the past. Open our minds and hearts to your new doors, pathways and inspiration of your Holy Spirit. Let our minds be new wineskins, ready for a glorious year of overwhelming abundance, overflowing joy, and overtaking blessings in Christ for all things, in Jesus Name, Amen.
