Today's Inspiration: Walk in the light as children of the light for the fruit of the spirit is goodness, righteousness and truth that reveals what is acceptable to our Lord. Ephesians 5:8-11. Have nothing to do with unfruitful deeds of darkness but rather expose them. V12.
When we walk in the light, and are filled with His commands, we are kept cleansed and continually be cleansed from all unfruitful deeds of darkness.
When we walk in the light, our flesh loses its power and we walk more in the spirit's power. It's in our adversity that our faith grows stronger and human nature loses its significance. In adversity, perseverance is produced followed by transformation of character that grants us hope. Hope will not disappoint us because the love of God is poured out into our hearts by the Holy spirit who was given to us. Romans 5:3-5.
Daniel and the three boys persevered despite the worst fiery trials and were eventually promoted by King Nebuchadnezzar. The heavier the testing the greater the calling. The greater the calling the greater the responsibility. We cannot accomplish God's great exploits without testing. So despite trials and shame, let's focus on our calling knowing full well that He is a rewarded of all things. God be praised.
Prayer: Abba Father despite the stormy weather we will calm the storms within us and reach our destination with confidence knowing fully well that You will not abandon us irrespective of circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
