Today’s Inspiration: “And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” Hebrews 11:32-34.
Faith is not found in the light, in the success or in good times. Ironically faith emerges in darkness, in sufferings and especially in extreme bad times. Without Goliath, we do not need the faith of David. So when we go through tests, trials and tribulations, our faith in God shall take centre stage. Hebrews 11:6. At the brink of a world war, an ever shape shifting covid, a financial crisis, or even signs of famine of food shortages, God is preparing His people to put on the amour of light in the midst of darkness. Romans 12:13. Time to awaken from spiritual slumber and stupor that the enemy has cast, by proclaiming the faith of your first love and turn on the desperation for God, intimacy with His presence and immersing into fervent prayer for lost souls, the sick, the lost and the impoverished. What you need in the coming season is to step into the realm of faith and miracles, for the love of God shall compel us. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, turn all my weaknesses into thy strength, sharpen my words as your sword, and let my heart be consumed by your Holy fire with the passion of Christ. Use me as your miracles, signs and wonders and may my life and service bring glory back to your throne of glory, honour and power, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
